Free Flower Bookplate

Did more bookplates today.

I ended up being satisfied (FINALLY!!!) with the one I made for my little sister who is a self-taught botanist. The flowers are from a Dover Publications collection which labels them as "twinflowers." So cute!

Again, thanks to The Graphics Fairy for the frame.

Free Vintage Style Moose Bookplate

I’m unemployed and have basically zero income, so Christmas presents are taking a little ingenuity to come up with this year. I have quite a collection of bibliophile friends, so this year I am turning to bookplates as a fun and relatively inexpensive gift.

Here is a bookplate I designed for one of my really good, long-tme, long-distance friends. His favorite animal is apparently the moose and his favorite color is forest green (well, he is from up north…).

I printed these out on Avery White Full Sheet Labels, but you could also print them out on nice cardstock and just paste them into the fronts of your books.

Here’s a link to my Flickr page for a higher resolution file for a full 8.5x11” sheet of these bookplates.

Thanks to Maritha at Victorian Vignettes for the frame, and to Karen at The Graphics Fairy for the lovely moose.
